Last month I had a copy of Leading and Coaching Teams to Success: The Secret Life of Teams by Phil Hayes. The book talks about how teams behave behind closed doors, and you can read my review of it here. There are some great stories of teams gossiping, imploding and generally going off the rails. It makes you feel good that your own team isn’t that bad (is it?).
I interviewed Phil in January and he told me that team coaching isn’t just for the disfunctional teams – it can also help good teams get even better.
Today I posted a copy of the book to Liz Savage of Portland, Oregon, who is a new project manager in Portland’s burgeoning software industry. Liz, your book is on the way – I hope it helps you with your new project teams!
If you missed out and still want to get your hands on a copy now, you can buy it on Amazon.co.uk or on Amazon.com.
