		<description>I think companies would reject name and shame policies as an unfair representation of their business - each company has individual circumstances that haven&#039;t been taken into account etc etc.  I can&#039;t imagine it would be a popular political strategy either, as alienating corporations is never a vote winner.  If name and shame were to happen it would have to be done by an independent body, much as we have &#039;Top 10 family-friendly companies&#039; and so on.  But no company would put forward their data to be included in any ranking system.  I don&#039;t have any better ideas than audits at the moment - pay is such a sensitive subject that gathering any meaningful data about it on a large scale is going to be really difficult.</description>
