I have removed the ‘Register’ link from the sidebar. I was getting far too many spam registrations and it was becoming difficult to deal with. Registering doesn’t give you any benefits – you can still post comments without being a user. You can also still sign up for email notifications of new posts, using the ‘Subscribe’ option on the right.
