Hi Elizabeth, I stumbled across your name three times in the last week and wanted to reach out to you.

First, congrats on the short quote in the PM Network magazine article "owning up". It never hurts for someone to plug your book!

Second, I'd like to contribute to your next month's Carnival. I am the original author of all the content on my blog (http://eq4pm.typepad.com/) which is focused on soft skills for project managers.

Third, my own book on project management is now out and I'd be happy to mail you a copy (Emotional Intelligence for Project Managers: The People Skills You Need to Achieve Outstanding Results). Just send me your address and I'll post it within the next week.

Cheers!

Thanks CA for warning me about this. I've just updated the carnival to remove these links, and I've contacted Don R Crawley and Louise Manning, the authors of the original articles to let them know.

I've gone back into InstaCarnival and flagged these two submitters as spam too. I don't include everything that gets submitted, and I do read all the posts, as there's lots of stuff that isn't appropriate to project managers, but I'll have to check a lot more carefully in future so I appreciate letting me know about this. And I'll also keep an eye out to see if any of my articles are appearing elsewhere without proper citation.

Thanks for including my post Elizabeth. However, I must point out that there are certain posts in here that may be from "splogs". Scott Allen, while creating the CoTC last week, uncovered them in his blog Revenue River (http://revenueriver.com/)

Some authors (e.g.: Sue Massey, Jason Rakowski) even pass off other's written work as their own. Moreover, this individual (yes it seems to be one individual with close to 6-7 blogs) never links back to your carnival. At least I never got a link back for the Carnival of Small Business Issues.

I suggest you take appropriate steps in order to maintain the quality of your carnival.

Cheers
