The NITLE wiki

by Elizabeth on 28/06/2007

I’ve added something else to the list of things I’ve found to be useful on the Resources page. This is a wiki from NITLE, a non-profit initiative dedicated to promoting liberal education.

NITLE run a project management workshop for liberal arts colleges, which is interesting in itself as it proves to those skeptics that project management has value outside the ‘traditional’ industries, and also that creative types can do things in a structured way.

The wiki links to various project management documents and resources for NITLE research. It’s not a start-to-finish guide to running a project but it has some good definitions, handy links, and it says that a critical component of project team meetings is food, so that entry has obviously been written by somebody who thinks like me!

  1. Wiki ahoy! The ICPM is starting a wiki for project management and I’m surprised at the information that is already on there, given they haven’t had it...

Thank you for the link! That’s a good description of what we wanted to accomplish with those materials.
    And food *is* crucial. :)

This is exciting to see! I am looking forward to checking it out. I think there’s a great deal of potential gold to be mined in looking across disciplines. Lately, I’ve been wanting to also look at project management for real estate development. Of course, I could also get a life… :-)
