Writing nine to five

Those of you who know I’m interested in literature won’t be surprised to hear that I found Joshua Ferris’ article for The Guardian interesting. Office life does turn up every now and then in fiction: project management even gets a passing mention.This article came out a good three weeks ago (21 April) and it’s been sitting on my sofa since then, waiting for me to give it the time it deserved. Finally I’ve got round to reading it, and thought you might appreciate it too.
