Two resources for jargon

by Elizabeth on 31/05/2007

Don’t know your ALO from your elbow? Business Balls has a long list of business (and other) acronyms to help you decode all those TLA’s. It’s not the prettiest site in the world, but functional and full of other resources too like team building games.

If you’re stuck with the jargon of project management, sign up for ESI International’s PM Terms newsletter. Every Friday you’ll be emailed the definitions of two project management phrases. Ten extra points if you can get them into your Friday afternoon project update meeting!

And in case you were wondering:

  • ALO: A Learning Opportunity
  • TLA: Three Letter Acronymn

And double points if you can pull off getting the above two acronyms in. :-)

What a great link, Elizabeth! I’ll be passing it around (via your post).
