Moving

by Elizabeth on 17/05/2007

hello goodbye

I’m moving house, so I will be temporarily separated from my PC. Even the thought of it gives me shivers. I knew it was going to happen, so this is a project I’ve been planning mainly on paper. All my notes are in a spiral bound book, which goes with me everywhere.

Having said that, I expect I’ll be in project crisis mode when the removal men get here: moving is a great test of project management skills! I’ll be co-ordinating boxes going up and down the stairs into various vans for delivery to various places, making lists of who has got what, managing tea breaks and the minor injuries you get when you start taking furniture apart… the list goes on and on.

So while I manage that little project, I’ll be taking a break from this blog. Once I’m settled in at the other end I’ll be back, so see you in a few weeks!

Since project management isn’t a problem for Girl like you, I am not worried at all with your boxes.

Working with you has been an excelent experience. Allthough replacing a project manager is supposed to be transparent (well instructed team, procedures which have been respected, thoroughly documented activities…

Nobody better than you to tell the issues related to Knowledge Management, and the difficulty to capitalize information (“identify, create, represent, and distribute knowledge for reuse, awareness and learning”).

Keep in touch, we might need you!
